Building Fitquency end-to-end. Trainer background. Public bio to follow at launch.
Software that respects your work — and your clients' privacy.
Fitquency is a fitness business platform built for trainers and gym owners who want to run their book without compromising the people in it. We're independent, US-based, and we don't sell ads — your client list isn't our business model.
Why we built it.
Most fitness software was built for the platform, not for the trainer. Client data flows into ad networks. Progress photos sit on shared S3 buckets. Health data ends up in third-party AI training sets. We don't think a barbell coach should have to read a 40-page DPA to do their job.
So we built Fitquency as a privacy-first alternative: progress photos never reach our servers, heart-rate data is processed on the watch and discarded, and client identifiers never enter any marketing tool. The simple feature you wanted (schedule a session, log a workout, send a payment) doesn't have to come bundled with surveillance.
We started Fitquency because we were tired of recommending tools to our coaches that we wouldn't trust with our own clients' data.
We launched in the US in 2026 with a deliberate scope: schedule, program, log, message, get paid. Boring, foundational, fast. EU launch is on the roadmap once the US foundations are battle-tested.
What we won't compromise on.
These aren't marketing values. They're product invariants — wired into the schema, the API, the mobile app, and the watch surface. If we ever ship something that contradicts one of these, we treat it as a P0 incident.
Privacy-first
Progress photos stay on-device. Health data is processed locally where the platform allows. Client identifiers never enter analytics.
Trainer-led
Every feature is shipped only after a working coach has used it for two weeks on real clients. No "coach mode" bolted onto a consumer app.
US-first launch
We deliberately scoped launch to a single jurisdiction so the privacy and data model could be built right. EU + Canada follow once the foundation is proven.
Trainer-first economics
Subscriptions are managed directly so trainers keep more of their margin, and we keep the independence to ship product decisions for our customers — not for any platform.
Who we are.
Small team, deliberately. Two engineers and one designer. We coach in our spare time so we use the product the way trainers do.
We're hiring. If you've shipped a Health-data-touching app and care about doing it right, write to careers@fitquency.com.
We're hiring. Mobile-first, accessibility-fluent, comfortable defending a 'no' against feature creep.
We're hiring. Working coach background required — you'll onboard the first 50 gyms personally.
