01 ·About this page
Our Privacy Policy gives the same core rights to every Fitquency user, wherever they live. The table in §4 lists each state law named in the policy, so you can see that your state is covered and what applies there.legal-draft
Plain English: wherever you live in the US, you can see, fix, download and delete your data. We never sell it.
02 ·Your rights
Under each law listed below, you have these rights:
- Access — get a copy of your data.
- Correction — fix your profile, data or history.
- Deletion — delete your account and its data.
- Portability — take your data with you, as JSON and CSV.
- Opt out of product analytics (on by default for signed-in members, unless your browser sends Global Privacy Control; off for visitors until accepted in the cookie banner) and of the AI improvement program.
- Marketing emails — off for everyone unless you turn them on.
We don't sell personal information, to anyone, so there is nothing to opt out of there. You can still record a “do not sell” request (see §3), and a Global Privacy Control signal records one for you.
03 ·How to make a request
- Access and portability: Settings → Privacy → Export my data
- Correction: edit your profile, data or history in the app at any time.
- Deletion: delete your account
- Product analytics: when signed in it is on by default (unless your browser sends Global Privacy Control); turn off Settings → Privacy → Product analytics on the web or in the app. If you are not signed in, it stays off unless you accept it in the cookie banner. Error reports and other data we need to run the service are not covered by this switch (see §15 of the Privacy Policy).
- Marketing emails and “do not sell”: both are off unless you turn them on, in Settings → Privacy on the web.
- AI improvement program: Settings → Privacy → AI
- Anything else: email privacy@fitquency.com.
04 ·State by state
Every row carries the full set of rights in §2, requested the ways in §3.
| State | Law | Rights | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| California | California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA / CPRA) | All of §2 | We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal as a valid “do not sell / share” request. We don't sell personal information. If your browser sends GPC, analytics stays off unless you turn it on yourself: in the cookie banner's choices if you're not signed in or on our public pages (home, pricing, legal), or by switching on Settings → Privacy → Product analytics yourself if you're signed in and using the app. The on-by-default setting doesn't override GPC. |
