Delete your Fitquency account
Deleting your account erases your profile, your training history, your photos, your messages and your sign-in. Almost everything is deleted. We keep financial records for 7 years and security audit logs for 1 year, because the law requires it. You get a 30-day grace period to change your mind, and signing in during it is all it takes to stop the deletion.
Sign in and delete
If you can still get into your account, this is the shortest way. You land straight on the page that does it.
Sign in and deleteOr request it by email
Use this if you no longer have the app, or cannot get into your account. You do not need to install anything.
One step can stand in the way
If you are the only owner of a gym on Fitquency, we refuse the deletion until the gym has somewhere to go: either transfer ownership to a colleague who accepts it, or archive organization, which needs nobody else’s agreement. We name the gym and both routes when it happens. Neither of those deletes your personal account or your personal data.
What is deleted
| Data |
|---|
| Your profile, workout history and personal records |
| Progress photos and every share grant on them |
| Messages you sent and received |
| Nutrition logs, targets and meal-plan assignments |
| Sessions, bookings and calendar links |
| Your sign-in and every device you are signed in on |
| Backups, within 30 days of the purge |
What we keep, and for how long
We keep the records below because the law requires it. They are anonymised wherever the record permits it.
| Record | How long |
|---|---|
| Financial and tax records for payments you made or received | 7 years |
| Security and abuse-investigation audit logs | 1 year |
| The record that you asked us to delete your account | 24 months |
The 30-day grace period
When you confirm, we sign you out on every device and tell you the exact date your account is deleted. Nothing is erased before that date. Sign in any time up to it and choose Cancel deletion, and the account comes back unchanged. We email you once, seven days out, so a month is not long enough to forget.
After that date the data above is gone and the account cannot be restored.
